Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation
Bioethics is a discipline that emerged in the mid-20th century with the aim of offering ethical criteria for making decisions that affect people's lives.
The Víctor Grífols i Lucas Foundation was created in 1998 with the aim of promoting research, education and debate in bioethics among healthcare and biomedical research professionals, citizens and organizations.
Probitas Foundation
Since 2008, Probitas Foundation has contributed to improving the physical, psychological and emotional health and equal opportunities of people in vulnerable situations.
The foundation works at the local level by improving the nutritional status and emotional well-being of children at social risk, and at the international level by strengthening the capacities of public health systems in countries with limited resources.
J.A. Grifols Foundation
Dr. Josep Antoni Grifols i Lucas was a celebrated scientist and pioneer of the plasmapheresis technique used to collect blood plasma.
In 2008, a foundation was established in his honor, with the mission of contributing to the health and well-being of plasma donors and the communities where they live.
